Today it is hard to come up with five. Heck, today it’s a struggle to come up with one. But, that was the point of the exercise, no? To focus on what I have to be thankful for, even when I am in a supremely rotten mood.
1. A new haircut that feels very “me”.
2. Mattie, Jimmy and Choo… the darling critters in my life who keep me on my toes.
3. My OCD tendencies, which are only increased when I’m in a rotten mood, have resulted in a ridiculously organized apartment.
4. Knowing that no hurt survives for long without our help.
